Railroad

Railroad Museum of New England:  Palmer, Massachusetts
Examined the feasibility and market potential for the relocation of the museum to a site in downtown Palmer for the Palmer Community Development Department.


Lackawanna Valley Heritage Park:  Scranton, Pennsylvania
This project included work on the initial plan for the Lackawanna Valley Heritage Park, and then subsequent work on Heritage Park components, including the Visitor Center and Trolley Museum.    We conducted market and financial feasibility studies for program components and evaluated alternative management options.


Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum: 
Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts
The Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum had proposed an expansion to a new and larger site in an adaptive reuse of an historically significant mill structure.  Market potential and facility development guidance were provided, along with an evaluation of working trolley routes associated with the Museum.


Railroad Park:  Birmingham, Alabama
Served as economic development and business plan consultants for the development of the new "central park" for Birmingham, AL.  The Railroad Park will be the centerpiece of a public-private joint effort to develop a key 14 acre site in downtown Birmingham where all of the railroads come together at the founding site for the city.  The park is curently in development.
