Prepared the market support study and operating plan for their proposed new facility in a new location.  We also evaluated the project’s fiscal and economic impact potential.  The Health Adventure is a health and science museum for children and families dedicated to improving health awareness, promoting wellness lifestyles, and increasing science literacy through programs and exhibits.

Nevada Discovery Museum:  Reno, Nevada
Prepared an initial feasibility study and later researched and analyzed comparable children’s museums and area markets as components of a full feasibility study and business plan leading to site selection, fund raising, and construction plans for the museum.

Bakersfield Adventures for the Mind:
Bakersfield, California
Prepared a market and feasibility evaluation for this emerging new facility that will host indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits based on science, technology, engineering, and math themes.

Lookout Farm:  Natick, Massachusetts
Assisted with a feasibility study and strategic plan to expand farming and gardening exhibits and hands-on offerings for children and families at this project in suburban Boston.

Children’s Museum of the North Bay:  Sonoma County, California
Worked with this proposed children’s museum on an initial feasibility study that included comparable children’s museum data, market research and, with the museum, evaluating alternative locations.  We also assisted in evaluating alternative development approaches and strategies.

Knock Knock Children’s Museum:  Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Worked to support strategic planning for this proposed children’s museum in Baton Rouge by evaluating the museum’s market potential and helping to create an operating plan.  This work included site review, a concise review of the size, characteristics and trends of the resident and tourist markets, experience of area educational, cultural and entertainment attractions, and children’s museum market trends.  We also analyzed attendance potential and physical planning parameters, museum ticket pricing potential, and revenue sources, and prepared a personnel plan, ongoing operations pro forma analyses and pre-opening operating plan.
