Arizona Historical Society Museum:  Tucson, Arizona
Prepared a combined market and economic feasibility study for the new Arizona Historical Society Museum to be located as part of the Rio Nuevo redevelopment project in Tucson. This included evaluating the potential for the Arizona Historical Society (AHS) to share facilities including an auditorium, classrooms and an outdoor plaza with the Arizona State Museum (ASM).


Greenville Delta Museum:  Greenville, Mississippi
Prepared a market study and operating plan for a museum interpreting the culture and history of the Mississippi River Delta.


Louisiana State Museum:  New Orleans, Louisiana
Assisted the Louisiana State Museum in evaluating its governance and organizational structure. Leading a multi-disciplinary team, ConsultEcon assessed  operational, funding and governance issues at the Louisiana State Museum, researched and evaluated the experience of comparable organizations nationally; and made recommendations for a revised organization and governance structure that would best support the goal of establishing a public-private partnership to better achieve the institution’s mission.


Heritage Harbor Museum:  Providence, Rhode Island
Heritage Harbor Museum is planned to be located in a section of the adaptive reuse of the Narragansett electric plant. ConsultEcon evaluated options for reusing sections of the plant based on appropriateness for museum functions and financial feasibility.


Connecticut History Center:  Hartford, Connecticut
The Connecticut Historical Society, one of the country’s oldest and most prominent historical societies, retained us to study the feasibility of a new history center in Hartford.  The new Connecticut History Center would represent a major shift in the scale of operations and programming for the Society. We examined the market potential for the new Connecticut History Center, which included a detailed site analysis, attendance projections and project sizing parameters.


Palace of the Governors/New Mexico History Museum:  Santa Fe, New Mexico
A comprehensive New Mexico History Museum is being added to the historic Palace of Governors. For this project, ConsultEcon prepared a business plan outline and strategies for market and operating success.


History Museum of UpCountry South Carolina:  Greenville, South Carolina
Prepared an operating plan for this history museum while it was under construction. This included a market study and revenue plan, personnel plan and operations plan.
 

Boston Museum:  Boston, Massachusetts
Prepared a study to address the market, financial and operating impacts of a new plan for the Boston Museum, a regional history museum to be developed on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in downtown Boston.
 

Thronateeska Heritage Center:  Albany, Georgia
Prepared market evaluations and financial feasibility analysis for the expansion of this regional history museum, and discovery center.
