California
Academy of Sciences: San Francisco, CA - We assisted the California
Academy of Sciences in planning for revitalization of their facilities,
which include the Steinhart Aquarium, Museum of Natural History, and the
Morrison Planetarium. We evaluated a range of options for the Academy,
including, moving to a new site in downtown San Francisco. This evaluation
included attendance and financial forecasts.
Wheeling Heritage Port: Wheeling, WV - OTJM had feasibility, planning and financial analysis responsibilities for a number of phases of Wheeling's downtown revitalization process. These included a revitalization strategy, analysis of a new intermodal parking garage (funded by ISTEA), mini-feasibility studies for downtown projects and analysis of a new waterfront park and riverboat landing. Identification of potential revenue sources and funding sources was also undertaken as well as input into operating and financial projections and organizational structures.
Development Strategy for an Interactive Visitor Center: New London, CT - For the State of Connecticut, the Office of Thomas J. Martin prepared an implementation development strategy, as part of the Thames River Heritage Park, a multi-site heritage park in the New London/Groton area.
