Economic Impact Evaluations
Often as a complement to feasibility studies or as stand alone studies, our work has included analysis of the economic impacts associated with project and program development.

Examples of economic impact studies include:
PIER Fiscal Revenues Potential: Oceanside, CA - We evaluated the visitor market potential of the proposed Pfleger Institution of Environmental Research (PIER) project, which includes research, education and visitor attraction elements. Also included was an estimate of the direct fiscal revenues the project would provide to the City of Oceanside from sales taxes and parking revenues.

New England Aquarium Economic Impact: Boston, MA - The Office of Thomas J. Martin worked with the Aquarium to evaluate the market support for a potential expansion of the current building and program. This work included primary and secondary market research, visitor projections and economic impact evaluations. The first phase of the project opened in January 1998.
